What I did today: Flower Arranging

I thought I would share with you all what I got up to today. Last year my mum started her own flower business, she wanted to bring back British flowers and provide people with home grown and vintage looking arrangements. Last year we did a craft fair together, you can see the post here and from there it has taken off. Today I helped her photograph and arrange the flowers to sell in a local farm shop.

I think I should stick to photographing them rather than arranging them..

and here is the final result, I really enjoyed photographing them! If you want to see more of my mums flowers or are interested in what she is doing she has her own Facebook page which you can find here.

  2. These are seriously gorgeous and lovely photos! You just inspired me to go around our own little garden to photograph some roses and others. I wish I'd live in England, Lincolnshire seems just perfect from your point of view.

  4. These are beautiful and I totally agree with what your mum is doing. I hate all these palm leafs and birds of paradise flowers. British flowers are beautiful, and all the flowers you photographed above remind me of being little and the flowers my mum grew in the allotment. Beautiful photography and your arrangement is cute!!
