Small A/W Haul

Hello everyone! I wen't shopping yesterday and I managed to pick up a few items which I've photographed above. I went into Topshop, Primark and River Island and everything I tried on didn't fit me right or I picked an item thinking it was my size when it turns out someone had put it on the wrong hanger and there was none of that item left in my size. So I came away slightly disappointed with not buying any new clothes. On a more positive note I was able to find this lovely cable knit jumper and these tartan pajama bottoms which were only £6 from Primark. I've been eyeing up some just like them on the Jack Wills website for a while now and I though these were a perfect and cheaper alternative. I also bought some cute socks from Topshop along with knitted knee high socks and tights. I couldn't resist buying some new books, even though I have lots of other books to read first. I was also excited to try the Revlon Lip Butters because every beauty blog i've read has been raving about them and I have to say I love them as well!

Autumn has arrived

Hi everyone! At the weekend I went with my mum to our local country house and gardens, i've been going here since I was little and it's one of my favourite places, it's just so beautiful. Although the pictures might not seem overly autumnal because the leaves haven't started turning golden yet, you can definitely feel autumn in the air. It's getting colder which means I can wear jumpers and knitted tights without people giving me funny looks (yes I still wear jumpers in summer).

Also it's coming up to that time of the year when I need to start writing my personal statement and choosing what course(s) I want to study for university and I'm finding it really difficult. I think many of you guys will be in the same position as me, well I hope I'm not the only one who's really confused. I've always loved photography, art, reading and writing but I always tried to push that aside and focus on the more 'academic' subjects because that's what we were told at school would get us jobs in the future, so I convinced myself that I wanted to study geography at University. But...I think i've changed my mind and decided to go with my heart and are now looking into studying photography with english or design. Have you studied these subjects and what do you think of them? I'm just worried that my photography won't be good enough aah!

York

Just some pictures I took when visiting York a few months ago which I forgot to post. The Starbucks there is so beautiful, its in an old bank. As you can see from the picture I posted it has the most amazing interior and detailed ceiling! We also visited the York Dungeons and York Minster, it was a really nice day out, I'd love to visit this city again some day.
