I went shopping yesterday to get some new clothes and shoes for sixth form and I thought I'd share with you some of the items I picked up. I haven't photographed all of the items I got because... well there was quite a lot of generic items like blazers, pencil skirts, shirts and stationary and these were my favourite items.
After walking to school for at least 6 years now I've realised how important a good pair of shoes are, especially as it rains a lot here in England and the weather can be very unpredictable. So I decided to go back to the shop I used to get all my school shoes from when I was younger....Clarks! In my opinion their shoes are the most comfy and they last a long time which is important because you don't want to be buying a new pair of shoes every term right? I picked up these lovely black brogues with a shiny patent leather section at the front. They're 100% leather which makes them water proof and they have cushioning inside. If you want to buy them click HERE which will take you to the Clarks site, also check out their other brogues HERE they're all pretty amazing!
I was also looking for a pair of boots to wear when it gets to Autumn/Winter because I know how difficult it is to find a pair when it gets to that time of year, because everyone is trying to buy them. I got these boots from Topshop, and I love them! I've wanted a pair of Chelsea Boots for a while now but after I tried them on in store I realised that they didn't fit me properly. Being a size 4 and having slim ankles I always have the struggle of finding a good fitting pair, so because of this I opted for this lace up pair.
I also looked in a few thrift shops to see if I could find any vintage scarfs to tie to my bag but while I was looking for them I found this cute Jack Wills skirt, which I've actually had my eye on for a while. it was only £1.50, bargin! However it is missing a button, but it won't be hard to find a replacement. Even though it's missing a button i've saved myself over £40 so I don't mind too much. If you like this skirt you can view a similar one HERE on the Jack Wills site. I don't think they make this one anymore but you may be able to find it on Ebay.
I know how difficult it is to find smart but stylish clothes for collage or sixth form so I was wondering would you like it if I put together a few outfit ideas/looks which I'd wear to sixth form? and maybe a post about what it's like going into year 12 and my personal experience. Let me know in the comments below and i'll make a post for you guys :)
